08- Install Ivyde on Windows (for Red5)

  1. Go to http://ant.apache.org/ivy/, then click on Ivyde in the left sidebar, then click on Download in the left sidebar, then under where it says Update Site, we will want to use the Name and URL.
    Name: Apache Ivy update site
    URL: http://www.apache.org/dist/ant/ivyde/updatesite
  2. Open eclipse, click on Help in the top menubar, then click on Install New Software, then click the Add button. Then for name and location, copy those from the Ivyde site (in step 1).
    (In eclipse: in the name field, use Apache Ivy update site and in the location field, use http://www.apache.org/dist/ant/ivyde/updatesite.) Then click OK.
  3. There will be a list of items with checkboxes....check the box that says Apache IvyDE Eclipse plugins and expand it and check all checkboxes under it. Then click Next », then click Next » again, then check the box to accept the terms, the click Finish, and wait while it downloads ivyde.
  4. If you get a warning message like the one below, then just click OK:
    Warning: You are installing software that contains unsigned content. The
    authenticity or validity of this software cannot be established. Do you want to
    continue with the installation?
  5. Then click Yes to restart eclipse.
